IT WOULD BE LUDICROUS NOT TO BIN IT

-

Forget the Comm Games, this is the Compost Games.

Okay, technically it’s the Fast and Ludicrous event … but essentially it’s a wheelie bin race.

Which is wheelie cool.

This annual event is anything but rubbish.

Unfortunately, last year’s event was postponed but it’s back today … and it’s bin too long.

Now in its fourth year, come and check out all the high-action, lowspeed racing on the streets of Oxenford as organisers take community involvement and excitement to a whole new, dirty level.

Participants from all over the region will take on the official 386.5metre outdoor racing track in all kinds of modified green racing chassis – with the aid of some people power.

The circuit is around the lake behind the Oxenford & Coomera Youth and Community Centre.

With exclusive pit-lane walks, support paddock access and prime views of the track action, Fast and Ludicrous is the ultimate way to experience wheelie bin racing.

Long straights combined with highly technical turns means big braking zones and sudden acceleration – a real thrill for spectators. Whether you are an individual or a community or corporate group, enjoy an unforgettable Saturday having fun around the lake.

This event brings you all the low speed of this adrenaline-fuelled sport with lots of family entertainment all powered by SuperFest.

In addition to the action on-track, there will be food, music and side attractions including food trucks, face-painting, jumping castle and prizes to be won.

Whether you win, lose, or just watch, remember that it’s all bin good, clean fun.
