Bullying isn’t child’s play, it’s a matter of life and death

-

BULLYING, how on earth has it come to this?

This is no funny matter that you can joke about with your friends. Before I continue let me tell you all my name is Capri Tansey. I am 14 and I have Asperger’s.

This is about as serious as World War II, and you didn’t see any people laughing at it, so why are we laughing now?

What sickens me the most is that people, children for heaven’s sake, are killing themselves day after day believing that the only way to end the torture is death.

The funny thing is that Jesus in the bible and one of God’s rules says, “love one another as I have loved you”. Now look at what has happened. We are not only causing harm to others but we are also not following God’s rule

However, in saying this there is a way to give these people hope. You can be the light in someone else’s darkness.

All you have to do is complement them, let them join in, let them enjoy life the way it should be for every being.

It does not matter if we are different colours, religions, or even our pasts.

What truly matters are that we are all in this together and we will pull each other up when times get tough. Remember, “never see a need without doing something about it.”

Don’t be a bully, be a wiser person and help.

CAPRI TANSEY, 14
