BEAUDESERT QUADDIE PREVIEW

- TOM HACKETT LADBROKES

Race 5 – Maiden Hcp (1400m) Magestical Maiden ran well at the Sunshine Coast last start and this is the weakest race that she has contested. Cruz De Vega has trialled fairly ahead. Solitary Rose wasn’t disgraced at Doomben last start while this is a better target for Faberge Lass. Selections: 7 Magestical Maiden, 1 Cruz De Vega, 4 Solitary Rose, 3 Faberge Lass

Race 6 – Class 3 Hcp (1200m) This is a genuine drop in class for So Invincible following two credible efforts at Doomben and the fact that he has had a barrier trial between starts is a positive. He is not the most consistent horse in the world, but Tyrannize is capable of a high-rating effort on his day. Allena has raced well without winning and Scorcha was tough at the Coast last start. Selections: 2 So Invincible, 1 Tyrannize, 5 Allena,

3 Scorcha

Race 7 – Class 1 Hcp (1200m) All Gifts led from start to finish to record an impressive win at the Gold Coast last start and he is a horse that still has upside. Amaryliss was only narrowly denied at Ipswich and generally improves second-up. Enlightened has promise but does race erratically. Serious Doubts recorded a maiden win last start and has the early speed to overcome a wide barrier. Selections: 2 All Gifts, 3 Amaryliss, 10 Enlightened, 6 Serious Doubts

Race 8 – Class 2 Hcp (1400m) Every Single One drops back in class following a tough effort against a much stronger field than this at Doomben. Defective is a better horse than his first-up run suggests. Auerbach had excuses last start at the Coast. Balabina is generally thereabouts. Selections: 1 Every Single One, 3 Defective, 5 Auerbach, 10 Balabina
