SUNDAY SESH DELIVERS GREAT WAY TO FILL UP

-

Celebrate the long weekend with a solid Sunday session at Nobby Beach.

Enjoy an ice-cold beer from local craft breweries, delicious tapas from food trucks and some chilled live Sunday arvo tunes on the beachfront at the Nobby Beach Surf Life Saving Club.

With kids entertainment in the park, it’s a great family friendly event on from 2pm until 7pm.

But if you’re looking to get there a bit earlier, why not try some of the newest Nobby’s eateries?

Pinky’s is bringing some American colour to this Nobby’s corner.

Owner Brayden Condon, 25, describes the full-flavoured fare as New York-inspired contemporary Australian.

Along with the hybrid hotdog, the menu includes a satisfying sprinkle of Jewish tradition – latkes with salmon lox, cream cheese and poached eggs; knishes, a baked, stuffed pastry popular on the streets of New York; and a dessert worthy caramelised apple jaffle, with vanilla bean ice-cream and strudel crunch.

Suit the mood by washing it down with a soda – cola, lemon squash or ginger ale – or there’s Balter XPA and Byron Bay Brewery Hazy One Pale Lager on tap.
