Decreasing E’ly swell will drop down and clean up under calm winds today through early tomorrow. This offers a couple of fair mornings over the weekend before a S wind is forecasted to increase texture through later Sunday.

Easing winds with smaller E’ly swells. Open areas settling out 2-3ft+ sets, fading through the day and tending smaller inside bays and point 1-2ft. WIND: Variable and light. Calm, S 0 to 10 knots.

TOMORROW

Easing E swell and S winds rise. Smaller E sets for open areas going 2-3ft, grading to 1ft inside the points and bays. S windwaves pick up in afternoon for northern NSW and adds bumpy 2-3ft windswell. WIND: Light S early, increasing through the afternoon 10 to 20 knots, tending strong over north NSW.

MONDAY

SSE swell builds under S’ly winds. Rising S swell tending 3-4ft along exposed northern NSW breaks, grading to 3ft QLD exposed beaches and smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: Early SSW to S 15 to 20 knots, tending S 10 to 15 knots in afternoon.

TUESDAY

SE swell holds good early with shift of offshore wind conditions, then fading in afternoon. Settling 2-4ft sets on open areas, dropping quickly. Grading smaller to 2ft sets in bays and points early. WIND: WNW 10 to 15 knots, easing in afternoon.

WEDNESDAY

SE swell with holding with E’ly wind direction. Steady overlappin­g 3 to 5ft+ sets, grading 2-3ft+ inside the points and bays. WIND: NW 10 to 15 knots, easing in afternoon.
