IS Matt Damon Chris Hemsworth’s fan boy? This encounter might suggest so.
After getting back to basics on Stradbroke Island just over a week ago, Damon and Hemsworth were back to lapping up the luxury their celebrity lifestyle permits.
The Thor and Bourne Identity stars visited Nineteen Rooftop Restaurant and Bar two days in a row, the second day moving from an upstairs private dining area to a poolside booth. Downstairs, they were happy to be seen having a good time and even got a selfie with a punter brave enough to approach the top-tier celebs. However, selfie snapper Rowen Hastings said it wasn’t until Hemsworth wanted to take the photo that Damon obliged too. “Chris Hemsworth was fine, Matt Damon was a bit stand offish,” he said.
“He was walking past and I asked for
a quick photo and he sort of said ‘If you can take one while I’m walking, no worries’.
“Then Chris walked past. I asked him and he was like ‘Yeah no worries’. “Then when Matt noticed Chris was getting a photo he ran back about 10 metres to get in the photo.” Mr Hastings said the entourage of about 10 were in the booth for at least an hour, having casual drinks by the iconic Nineteen infinity pool.
