WHO’S WHO OF HOTTEST TIX IN TOWN

Tourism and business types were among the celebrity guests at the Gold Coast Logies

-

IT was the hottest ticket not only in town, but the country.

So exactly who did the Premier and the Mayor invite to share their stakeholder tables at the Gold Coast Logie Awards at The Star Gold Coast?

After much digging, ATG can reveal who jagged a seat at the State and local government tables.

Much to the chagrin of one of her sisters, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk took her longtime friend Tim Grau, a one-time adviser to former Queensland Labor premier Wayne Goss and ex-federal attorneygeneral Michael Lavarch.

Also on the Premier’s table were Tourism Australia chair Bob East and his wife, Virgin Australia co-founder turned Tourism and Events Queensland chairman Brett Godfrey and his guest, TEQ CEO Leanne Coddington, Screen Queensland CEO Tracey Vieira and Tourism and Major Events Minister Kate Jones and her husband Paul Cronin.

Representing the city at the starstudded event, Mayor Tom Tate walked the red carpet with wife Ruth and two of their table guests — longtime friends Michael and Tracey Woodbry, Supercars’ GM of corporate experiences.

Mrs Woodbry is also a Gold Coast Mayoress Charity Foundation committee member.

Also on the Mayor’s table were his daughter, budding film producer Emily Tate and her boyfriend, Phillip Stephens, whose family’s company The Stephens Group is developing the Empire Industrial Estate at Yatala.

Rounding out the guest list were Roland (founding director) and Tracey Evans (accounts manager), from Chevron Island-based company Canford Property Group, whose clients include ASF, Songcheng, Ho Bee Land, Wanda Group, BMW, RDG, Cartier, AMP and Bentley.

Deputy Mayor Donna Gates and her 86-year-old mother Jo Austin, in town visitng from Melbourne, were also on the Mayor’s table. PINK Took to Instagram yesterday to lash out at reports fans wanted to know why she was pictured enjoying a day on the beach in Byron Bay with her children Willow and Jameson if she was too sick to perform in Sydney last night. Pink’s partner Carey Hart returned to the US on Thursday to attend the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota but will return to Australia to join his family again later next week.
