Surfers team are best in the world
RAY WHITE Surfers Paradise has bested more than 1000 other offices in the network to be named the number one agency in the world at the Ray White International Awards.
It is the 25th time RWSP has won the top prize during an almost 30-year period.
The award of Number 1 Office Internationally Based On Number Of Sales was one of 10 the Gold Coast group won last month.
Other awards included Property Management Team Of The Year Internationally and Number 3 Office Internationally Based On Settled Sales Value.
RWSP CEO Andrew Bell said the award reflected the Gold Coast agency’s growing market share and strength on a global scale.
“We are proud of building the strongest agency in the city, developing not only our local strength but most importantly for the Gold Coast our national and international arms to maximise the number of buyers,” Mr Bell said.
“It’s humbling to be named the number one agency world-wide and it’s an achievement we will continue to build on.”
Ray White Commercial, also owned by the RSWP group, was internationally recognised as Auction Office Of The Year and Top Commercial Property Management Office Of The Year Internationally with a number of its commercial agents also recognised.
Emma Wilson was named Commercial Property Manager of the Year while Jared Johnson and Lachlan Marshall were named Sales Rising Stars of the Year.
Ray White Commercial agents were also ranked internationally with Michael Willems securing Number 2 Agent Internationally as well as Top Auction Performer and the Chairman’s Elite Member Award.
Matt Gates secured Number 5 Agent Internationally and the Chairman’s Elite Member Award.
The Ray White International Awards were held over two nights at the Gold Coast Convention Centre last month.
RWSP is also a four-time recipient of the REIQ’s Queensland Agency of the Year Award and was last year named Business of the Year at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.
