SURF FORECAST TUESDAY:

TODAY:

Short range NE windswell and tiny E swell bumping up to 1-2ft along exposed beaches, grading from tiny to near-flat elsewhere. WIND: Early NW to NNW around 5 to 15 knots tending N and increasing to 15-25 knows during the afternoon.

TOMORROW:

Slight NE windswell around 1ft+ early, superseded by rising S windswell during the day. Picking up to 2-3ft+ across northern NSW south facing coasts during the day and potentiall­y 3-4ft+ into the afternoon. NE windswell initially 1ft+ exposed QLD breaks, superseded by S windswell to 1-2t+ during the afternoon with size depending on exposure. WIND: Initially light NW to W ahead of an early SSW change, tending S 15-25 knots during the morning, then SSE in the afternoon.

MONDAY:

S swell up to 3-5ft+ across northern NSW south facing coasts, wrapping at around 2-3ft exposed QLD breaks and gradually easing throughout the day. Grading smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: Early SSW inshore, tending SSE 15-20 knots, easing and tending SE/E later.

Leftover swell up to 2-3ft northern NSW south facing beaches, grading to more like 1-2ft+ southern QLD exposed coasts and smaller elsewhere with size depending on exposure. WIND: Early light and variable, tending NNE around 10 knots during the afternoon.

WEDNESDAY:

Mix of smaller-scale ESE and SSE swells around 1ft+ exposed breaks, grading smaller elsewhere with size depending on exposure. WIND: Early light WNW to NW inshore, tending NNE 10-15 knots later.
