Pigeonholing social sectors recipe for division and hate
OK, I admit it, I’m an angry white man. My anger was born from others hating me solely because of my white masculinity.
I’m not a racist or a misogynist or a homophobe or a bigot or a wealthy elitist but I have been called all this and more, mostly by hysterical-sounding white people.
My white male ancestors and their counterparts created the greatest societies ever known, the only ones to have freed people from slavery and poverty.
We achieved this great society through the rule of law, free-market capitalism and the inventive genius required to harvest energy from sources other than man or beast.
Many of us laid down our lives to defend these great, free societies so that the present populations should not suffer the tyrannies of National-Socialism or Communism.
But suddenly me and my demographic are hated and vilified and railed against even though our intellectual and physical efforts underpin everything our haters rely on to live.
Suddenly the politics of division is everywhere and everyone who isn’t a white male is a victim and everyone who is a white male is an oppressor.
So I find myself angry about the racism and misandry and heterophobia and bigotry and elitism that I and my fellow white men must endure from those who didn’t build all this. Should you feel the urge to spew hatred at a white man, particularly if you’re white or mostly white yourself, contemplate how your life would look without everything contributed by white men.
Think about it deeply and honestly enough and you’d thank us for your wonderful life, good health and ability to express yourself regardless of how selfdefeating your ideas might be.
