The interest is clear at local Tweed Heads Toyota dealership

SURF Toyota is excited to offer customers a more transparent way of getting finance through the dealership, says Adam Hall, general manager of the Tweed Heads South-based business.

Mr Hall said the finance industry had adopted riskbased pricing which meant car dealerships could now offer interest rates based on a person’s financial history and situation rather than a onesize-fits-all approach.

Over the past two months, Mr Hall said previous customers of Surf Toyota had refinanced and many rates had been far lower than what previously could be offered.

“There have been some happy customers out there, that’s for sure,” he said.

“Even if you’re not in the market to buy a car right now, people can visit Surf Toyota and we’ll assess what their interest rate could be.

“We’re sure many will be surprised with the rate they’re offered.

“With interest rates overall at such historical lows, and generally car loans are at a fixed rate, customers can lock in rates while they’re low – this means that even if rates rise in the next few years they’ll still be locked in at a great rate.”

Meanwhile, Mr Hall said Surf Toyota was in the process of clearing 2018 stock, so when combined with the increased transparency in car finance, it was a great time to get that new car.
