UK, EUROPE FANS WOW OUR AMY

They love her overseas just as much as we do and it’s touching for GC sensation Amy Shark

-

AMY Shark’s biggest overseas tour to date has been a standout for the Gold Coast singing sensation. And no, not because of the bizarre incident with stowaways found hiding in her tour bus luggage compartment, trying and sneak into the UK.

Earlier in the week, Shark reflected on the dramatic incident en route from Amsterdam – where her show sold out – and Brussels, saying it was a bit of shock but the UK leg was “on track”. She has since played a sold out London gig and tells ATG: “This tour has been a standout for me. “It’s crazy to see how much the shows have grown, how many songs they all know! “Even in Europe where there can potentially be a language barrier.

“They all seem to really understand me. London was just a room full of love.

“It’s growing at a rapid rate and I’m excited for the next European, UK tour.”

Shark took time out in Europe to tune into the Triple J Hottest 100 countdown, celebrating on the road when I Said Hi was voted at five. At the time she posted online she was “crying on the side of the road somewhere between Amsterdam and Brussels, thank you to everyone who voted.” Fans back in Australia will have chances to see her come May when she tours the country with shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. It includes a May 17 gig at Riverstage in Brisbane.
