Dating Angel’s love secrets a recipe for happily ever after

- EMILY HALLORAN emily.halloran@news.com.au

LYN Paul is known as the Dating Angel and her role in our Gold Coast paradise is to guide lonely hearts to love heaven.

Mrs Paul says there are plenty of men on the Gold Coast who are ready to get hitched – women just need to be trained first.

Mrs Paul and her business partner, Krystal Lea, have been dating coaches for women on the Coast for almost a decade, teaching them how to land the partner of their dreams.

“We encourage the first date to just be a 45-minute coffee date,” she said.

“First dates can be very awkward, particularly if you’re going out for dinner, because if you’re not interested you feel awful. But a 45-minute coffee allows you to get to know a bit about each other, but not too much. Don’t let the guy know too much about you. It’s all about keeping them interested.”

But the rules don’t stop there. If women are really looking for something serious, they must keep the dates outdoors for three months and only see the guy once or twice a week.

Mrs Paul is certain if people follow her rules and techniques, they will be led to a lasting love.

“I’m teaching old fashioned dating techniques that will lead to marriage,” she said. “I have a huge success rate. We’ve had many marriages. That’s why there’s a formula.

“We are dating coaches for women, but we have had guys approach us to say they are sick of picking up girls who they don’t know and wake up next to them after having a one-nightstand.”

Business is booming for the Dating Angels as Mrs Paul said about 90 per cent of their clients were from overseas.

The duo will be hosting a free seminar night for women at Freshwater Resort, Broadbeach, on Friday March 22. To book, call the Dating Angel on 0434 559 629.

Never ask him out

“It’s up to the guy to ask you out. They want to see you.”

Keep it simple

“Going out for coffee is a good first date. It can be very awkward during a dinner date.”

Safety comes first

“Don’t let a guy pick you up for the first four dates.”

Keep it short

“Forty-five minutes is a good amount of time. No time to find out too much about you.”

Keep contact minimal

“You should only see them once or twice a week. If you see them too much too soon you run the risk of them being bored.”

Don’t rush to the bedroom

“Keep all dates outdoors for three months.”
