TODAY: Leftover SSE swell reinforced by new south groundswel­l in the afternoon. Northern NSW: Sets ranging from 3 to 4ft along exposed breaks, picking up to 4 to 5ft later. Wrapping at 2 to 4ft elsewhere. Southern Qld: Up to 2 to 3ft along exposed beaches, more like 1 to 2ft inside the points and bays. WIND: Early SW to SSW 10 to 15 knots, tending SSE to SE/NE in the afternoon.

TOMORROW: SSE groundswel­l levels off. Far northern NSW: Speculativ­ely 3 to 4ft across south-facing breaks, grading to 2 to 3ft+ along open beaches with size depending on exposure. Southern Qld: around 2 to 3ft along exposed open breaks, grading to 1 to 2ft along the points and inside bays. WIND: WSW to SSW 5 to 15 knots, tending SSE during the afternoon. MONDAY: Potential for larger, long-period Southerly groundswel­l. Far northern NSW: Speculativ­ely 4 to 6ft+ across south-facing breaks, wrapping at 3 to 5ft along open beaches with size depending on exposure. Southern Qld: around 3 to 4ft along exposed beaches, grading to 1 to 3ft elsewhere with size depending on

TUESDAY: Easing SSE swell under mostly favourable winds. Far northern NSW: Around 3 to 4ft+ along south-facing breaks, settling in the afternoon. Southern Qld: SSE swell mixing with residual ESE swell up to 2 to 3ft along exposed beaches, grading smaller open beaches and along the points and bays. WIND: Light WNW to NW tending North later. WEDNESDAY: Southerly groundswel­l slowly eases. Far northern NSW: Sets ranging 2 to 4ft across south-facing breaks, easing in the afternoon. Ranging from 2 to 3ft along open beaches with size depending on exposure. Southern Qld: around 2ft+ along exposed open breaks, grading to 1 to 2ft along the points and inside bays. WIND: Early WNW to NW, tending North to NE 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon.
