She’s been grooming stars in the US, now brow artist Kelley Baker is coming Down Under to wow with her masterclass
A CELEBRITY eyebrow artist responsible for the Kardashians’ “perfect” brows is headed to the Gold Coast to teach industry professionals the tricks of the trade.
Los Angeles-based Kelley Baker has been doing celebrity brows for the past eight years and has built up a client base boasting some of the biggest Hollywood names including Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande and Lucy Hale.
Gold Coast makeup experts Otto and Zoe Mitten invited Ms Baker to teach masterclasses around Australia.
The Mittens have been married for the past decade and export industry professional beauty products under the brand name Ex-Import to 60 countries from their Burleigh Heads warehouse.
Mr Mitten said they “hit it off” with Ms Baker when messaging her on Instagram after she had been using their brow products for the past year.
“Kelley uses our Elleebana lash lift product in her salon in Venice Beach, California,” he said.
“She’s been envisioning coming here and we made it happen.
“We will be showing her around in Australia for 10 days and stopping on the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne to teach the classes.”
Mr Mitten is a multi-awardwinning makeup artist and the director of Ex-Imports.
“I got into the beauty industry as my mother had a beauty school called the Gold Coast Training Academy and I trained in makeup, lashes and brows,’’ he said.
“From there I studied cosmetic chemistry and formulation for personal care products.”
Ms Baker will hold her masterclass at the Sofitel Hotel on September 1.
