Hope Island residential development proving popular

-

BRISBANE-BASED Keylin Group – the new owner of land at Serenity Cove – is fast capitalising on a buoyant Hope Island market.

The Louis Cheung-headed company has sold all 16 waterfront homes, 31 terraces, and 44 villas at its Park Cove development.

Keylin Group first entered the northern Gold Coast market three years ago and has almost reached $100 million in sales at the development.

Construction has started on the next stage of Park Cove – 36 villas that are expected to be finished by early next year. Just five of the villas, priced from $532,000, remain for sale.

The company is also preparing to launch another villa development in Hope Island to be known as Palladium. The $30 million estate will be developed on land between the Hope Island canal and the Sanctuary Cove resort.

Sales and marketing director Tony Ashwin said with Park Cove the company has set the benchmark for value while creating a diverse product mix that appealed to a growing market.

“People have come to recognise Hope Island as a worldclass lifestyle precinct and Keylin has created the residential living spaces to accommodate them into this community,” Mr Ashwin said.

“We have worked very hard to create luxury but affordable residences that resonate with the lifestyle that Hope Island offers.

“We have also set the benchmark for value, with our villas selling quickly because they were offering such value at just over $3000 per square metre.

“These are competitive prices for a precinct surrounded by water, wedged between two world-class resorts in Sanctuary Cove and Hope Island Resort and in an area where there is so much growth potential.”

Keylin last month bought the 65ha undeveloped balance of the lakefront Serenity Cove estate for $50 million.

The Serenity land could provide 100 lots and 250 townhouses and villas.
