No kidding … goats help launch law firm
THESE ladies certainly aren’t kidding around even when they’re acting the goat.
Enough of the obvious puns, but it was hard for us to ignore this very novel approach to the launch of the Gold Coast’s latest law practice.
Evolve Legal is a new division of Ramsden Lawyers whose mantra is “Law made different” and to celebrate the opening more than 40 women were invited for a night of fun and meditation by doing Goat Yoga, facilitated by Karmably.com.au.
It’s just one of the weird and wonderful versions of the ancient Saraswati spiritual discipline of bringing harmony between the mind and the body.
Some of the more recent variations on the practice include Nude Yoga (Noga); Dog Yoga (Doga); Ganja
Yoga; Beer Yoga; Laughter Yoga; Tantrum Yoga; and of course, Wine Yoga.
Practice leader Anna Morgan, who also heads up the personal injury team, said she wanted to incorporate wellness as well as innovation into the launch event.
“Ramsden Lawyers and Evolve Legal have a commitment to wellness and collaboration and what better way to demonstrate this than by giving our guests an opportunity to experience a fun and unique wellness activity,” she said.
She said Ramsden Lawyers has a long history of providing a premier service to corporate clients, but saw an opportunity to service the retail and consumer market.
“Evolve Legal was launched so that the retail and consumer clients can have more options in how their legal services are delivered,” Ms Morgan said.
“It is intended to provide those retail and consumer clients with value-based fee model options, either through ‘No Win No Fee’ or a fixed-fee model.”
Ms Morgan said she has assembled a great team of experienced lawyers who will provide legal services including: injury and superannuation insurance claims, residential conveyancing, migration, wills and small business.
