PAM’S LATE ENTRANCE

The arrival of Pamela Anderson has been delayed a few days but she is on track to return to the Gold Coast for the first time since 2008

-

GLOBAL sex symbol turned activist Pamela Anderson remains Gold Coast bound to shoot an Ultra Tune TV ad despite postponing today’s previously scheduled arrival.

The Baywatch bombshell, who has the record for most Playboy covers, has had her trip put back due to a reported family emergency.

But Ultra Tune bosses, who have booked and planned her week-long stay on the Gold Coast with militarylevel focus and are shelling out in excess of $500,000 for the ad, are not at all concerned about the delay.

Anderson, who rose to fame as CJ Parker in the long-running Baywatch series, which had more than a billion viewers at its peak, is set to arrive on the Gold Coast by Monday night.

She will spend one day of her stay shooting on a roped-off section of the city’s famed coastline stretching for several hundred metres.

Ultra Tune owner Sean Buckley tells ATG he is super pumped about the shoot for the latest ad in his series, which typically spark the most complaints to Ad Standards.

“It’s all going really good, we’re very excited and we’ve got all the ad crew here on the Coast now,” he said.

Ultra Tune has spared no expense for Anderson’s star turn, having lined her up five-star accommodation, a personal chauffeur and limousine plus gun-toting private security.

While here, Anderson will take part in a cover shoot for Australian lads magazine Maxim and do exclusive interviews with Kiss FM’s Kyle and Jackie O, plus the Bulletin.

Buckley says while previous ads starring Mike Tyson and Charlie Sheen saving helpless female drivers have been branded sexist, he had previously tried to get then-unbeaten female UFC star Ronda Rousey as a lead. “But then she got knocked out and broke her jaw and it fell over,” he said of her stunning defeat in Melbourne by Holly Holm in 2015.
