RACE 5

– 3YO MAIDEN (1200m)

The Angela Plumb-trained Xuannu has been placed at her past two starts at the Coast over 1100m and 1200m after leading and has shown enough early pace to overcome the outside gate. Miss Alle Be from the Robert Heathcote stable is facing the starter for the first time but has been tuned up with a recent Doomben trial win and the filly will race with the blinkers on.

King’s Rule has raced twice for a fifth at Doomben and a fourth at the Coast and can be thereabouts again. Look for improvement from Relentless Miss after her debut fourth at the Gold Coast a fortnight ago.
