RACE 4

— CLASS 4 HCP (1200m)

Kitty Damour has been around the money with three placings and a fourth from her past four starts. She heads back to the Gold Coast after a third there last Saturday in a 1400m Class 5 Handicap. Apprentice Sheriden Tomlinson’s 3kg claim will help her chances. Heritage Sash is a winner of this course and distance and will strip fitter for a first-up fourth in an Eagle Farm Class 3 Plate three weeks ago.

Saxophone has handy recent Grafton form with a third and two fifths and

Medicine Ball has had a freshen up since winning a 1605m Coffs Harbour BenchMark 66 on December 30.

SELECTIONS:

1 Kitty Damour, 3 Heritage Sash, 2 Saxophone, 4 Medicine Ball

RACE 5

— BM68 HCP (1400m)

Motion Granted was narrowly beaten at the Coast two starts back in a 1400m BenchMark 65 and returns following a handy sixth in an Eagle Farm 1600m 1MW two weeks ago. The horse is a winner this track and distance. Bucephalus produced his best run this time in with a last-start second in a Gold Coast BenchMark 65 and has each-way claims again.

Sequablur was a winner at the Gold Coast two runs back over 1200m and

Jackpot Jay heads down the mountain following a second in a 1300m Toowoomba Class 3 Handicap on February 26.

SELECTIONS:

2 Motion Granted, 8 Bucephalus, 4 Sequablur, 1 Jackpot Jay

RACE 6

— CLASS 1 HCP (1100m)

Krakatoa Eruption was a runaway winner at Gatton two starts back and then went down narrowly in a similar race to this week’s contest at the Gold Coast two weeks ago. She looks the likely leader again and will be hard to run down. Miss Dynamic broke through for her Maiden win last start at Toowoomba and has each-way claims up in class. Zymatic was well beaten first-up at the Gold Coast but has won a 1000m Gold Coast barrier trial since and look for improvement. Uno Amor has finished second in a recent Toowoomba 925m barrier trial in preparation for her return to the track.

SELECTIONS:

6 Krakatoa Eruption, 8 Miss Dynamic, 2 Zymatic, 7 Uno Amor

RACE 7

— CLASS 1 HCP (1300m)

King’s Rule has been getting closer to the winner’s stall again. He was third over 1200m, then second over 1400m in the same class as he is facing this afternoon at his past two starts and gets his chance this week. Bucephalus ran his best race this preparation last start with a second in a 1400m BenchMark 65 Handicap at the Gold Coast on February 1 and looks suited here. Gandiva has been in the prizemoney lately with two seconds at the Gold Coast. Think I’m Flying can do better than her last-start sixth in a 1400m Gold Coast Class 1 Handicap a fortnight ago.

SELECTIONS:

5 King’s Rule, 1 Bucephalus, 9 Gandiva, 11 Think I’m Flying
