If you’ve booked flights to Japan or anywhere with Jetstar good luck getting your money back or any sort of recompense. Make sure you get a copy of the transcript of the call, and ask when your booked flight was cancelled. Go hard.

White goods retailers must be making a fortune out of deep freeze sales, as there is no meat and bread on the shelves. Katz

Wow, I look so intelligent when I take a random sentence or part of, and quote it as fact. Like so-called self Bible experts. Graz

I was stopped by Coles (Helensvale) from buying three boxes of facial tissues ($1 per box). We have none @ home and have waited 3 days for store to stock shelves. Only want 1 box for home, 1 box for each of 2 cars. Very surprised and disappointed at the shocking, blunt manner I was spoken to. I tried to explain, but was told by the person (extending arm and pointing finger to “leave now”. Of course I did pay $2 and walked away with only 2 boxes, as others shook their heads, bewildered as I was too. I fear our Australia will never be the same now that customer service has completely disappeared. Aussie Old Timer

If the AFL and NRL want to avoid a future suspension or cancellation of their season move all the teams up north to avoid players becoming infected. After all it’s now just a TV game with no spectators so no need for large stadiums to play in. Six teams each based in Darwin, Cairns and

Townsville with minimal travel for the AFL teams. Will get you through the season without a complete shutdown if action taken now before a player gets infected.

To Diamond, (GCB, SMS page 20/03), You don’t have to live in Queensland (as I do) to realise that the mob in government in Qld are “dud”. ND

Brides cancelling their weddings in Europe and strip clubs to stay open. We live in interesting times! BM

The coronavirus could be used as a benefit to our country. We should use the stimulus package to help companies set up factories that produce goods previously purchased overseas. It is time we cut the reliance on China and similar countries and reinvigorate the ‘Made in Australia’ concept. This will in

turn create jobs for Australians. Let’s stand alone or at least trade with our allied countries like the US & UK etc. Laza

So Italy has overtaken China for coronavirus deaths. Anybody who believes China’s figures where it all started which has more than 20 times the population of Italy believes in fairies and leprechauns at the bottom of the garden.

Wouldn’t it funny if mice got into the toilet paper of those hoarders ... karma.

Morrison just approved the sell-off of Australia’s largest dairy to communist China. Think about who you vote for next election. I suppose it won’t matter China will own us by then!

Had major problems with my VF Holden. Would like to thank vonBibra for their excellent service and Holden. Jim

Thank you intelligent doctors in yesterday’s Bulletin. I have said since the beginning of this CV. Stop panicking, it will cause you more harm than CV, by stressing your immunity. Older people are much more vulnerable to getting ill, and they love their bickies and sweetened tea. Time to quit sugar and stay healthy. LS

WTF ! 7Eleven opposite Helensvale High and at Macca’s Hope Island 157.9 . ACCC you toothless pussies do your job! Pedro

To Zodiac, Do you have any proof of your ridiculous claims regarding Lucifer? Where do you get these far-fetched ideas from without a shred of evidence? - unbrainwashed

Now the airlines are shut down. Will the Communist arm of the Labor Party shut down our ports!@!!??

Sell the toilet paper directly from the Coles, Woolies, Aldi distribution centres. Cut out the middle man. Will save a lot of time, truck deliveries and shopping carnage. Kiwi ingenuity

Apparently there is a lot less chance of catching a virus in a crowd of 95 than there is with a crowd of 100. Barney

Some neighbours have started home schooling their children due to COVID-19. So far 3 children have been expelled and 2 parents fired due to intoxication. Johnbrew

MERS, SARS, Hendra virus and now COVID-19. Are bats really that important? Peter

Where is Russia in all of this crisis? Strange!

If the Federal Government saw how much money is being spent at the big supermarkets they would can the stimulus package. The Archaeologist
