RACE 5 — CLASS 1 HCP (1200m)
All Shiraz had handy form before a break in this class and is fitter for one run back from a spell when fourth in a 1200m F&M Class 1 Handicap at Doomben. King Of The Coast Daniel Griffin takes the ride. Top Guns won her maiden over this course and distance over the summer and then finished second in a 1400m Class 1 at the Gold Coast. She has a tongue on tie first-up. Rock Tour has had two runs back from a spell and is ready to produce her best. Dreamtime Magic heads to the Gold Coast for the first time, coming off a first-up second in a 1200m Grafton Class 1 Handicap.

RACE 6 — CLASS 1 HCP (1200m)
Hallside Hot Stuff broke through for his maiden win two starts back at the Sunshine Coast over 1200m on a heavy track and then finished fourth in a 1300m Toowoomba Class 1 Handicap. He looks suited here with Daniel Griffin in the saddle. The Chris Munce-trained Trevello will be better for a first-up second in a 1000m Sunshine Coast Class 1 and is ready to step up to the 1200m. Blacklog is coming off a first-up fifth in a 1200m Doomben Class 1 and Magic Beans was racing in tougher company than this last preparation and has had two barrier trials to get fit for his return.

RACE 7 — BM65 HCP (1800m)
Great Powers has been doing her recent racing at Eagle Farm in Saturday class and hasn’t been far off the mark with two placings and a fourth before her last-start fifth in an 1845m BenchMark 80. She will appreciate the drop in class and apprentice Sheriden Tomlinson’s 3kg claim will come in very handy. Combativite will be suited this class and distance coming off a laststart fourth in a Doomben 1630m Class 1. Aladina was a last-start third in a Toowoomba 1625m Class 3 Handicap and Holly Run heads back to the Gold Coast following his win in a Sunshine Coast 1600m Maiden.

RACE 8 — BM65 HCP (1400m)
Tziporah is coming off Doomben midweek form which saw her finish third two starts back in a 1200m BenchMark 75 followed by a seventh in a 1350m Class 3 Plate. She went forward from a wide gate last start and Anthony Allen might have to adopt the same tactics here. Rest Of The World was a beaten favourite last start when third in the same race as Tziporah and trainer Matt Dunn has taken the blinkers off. Smart As Attack heads back to the Gold Coast after being tested in Eagle Farm Saturday class and Grandioso was a winner over this course and distance three starts back.
