Audi’s eye-catching electric vehicle makes showroom debut

THE new Audi E-Tron is available now at Audi Centre South Brisbane.

The first all-electric vehicle from Audi, the E-Tron is the very pinnacle of automotive technology; with all of the performance, luxury and appointments that are trademarks of the Audi brand.

Driven by two electric motors, a new electric quattro all-wheel drive and a superbly finished interior fit for five adults, the E-Tron continues Audi’s skill of combining engaging performance with practicality and uncompromising luxury.

“Sleek, elegant and designed with superior aerodynamics, the E-Tron is not only eye-catching, but with the optional groundbreaking virtual mirrors, drag is greatly reduced, improving overall range by up to 40km in distance,” Audi South Brisbane general manager Daniel Bowden said.

“The familiar octagonal Singeframe dominates the front end and its vertical struts and platinum grey surround identifying it as an E-Tron model.”

The Matrix LED lights display their own E-Tron signature, with the four horizontal struts in the daytime running lights mirroring the E-Tron specific design of the alloy wheels.

The unique light signature is also echoed at the sculptured rear, with its long roof edge spoiler and distinctive absence of exhaust pipes.

“With the Audi E-Tron, Audi Design has translated the brand’s fundamental design language for the electric age, both inside and out,” Mr Bowden said.
