App helping parks stay COVID clean compliant
GOLD Coast-based technology company Virtual Manager is playing a key role in theme parks giant Village Roadshow’s efforts to host guests safely during COVID19.
Village Roadshow has implemented Virtual Manager’s SmartCleaner modules within it’s Gold Coast theme parks and attractions, which include Movie World, Sea World, Wet’n’Wild, Paradise Country, Australian Outback Spectacular, Sea World Resort & Water Park, and Topgolf.
SmartCleaner is a software application used by customer service staff across the food outlets, which digitally schedules, tracks and records cleaning practices – such as the wiping down of chairs, tables and counters.
The implementation of SmartCleaner has enabled Village Roadshow Theme Parks to welcome guests to the theme parks, while ensuring all public safety requirements are met.
It follows Village implementing Virtual Manager’s FoodSafe app, which provides real-time food and room temperature
monitoring, activity tracking for both kitchens and staff members, and live updates and notifications.
Virtual Manager CEO Anil Patel said the company’s systems had been proven over many years in some of the most highly-regulated environments in the world.
“We have a proven track record and a seamless integration process. This means we can have large organisations such as Village Roadshow up and running with a very short turnaround,” he said.
Sea World Resort general manager Sanjay Bhatia said
its use of other Virtual Manager products had given it the confidence to use the cleaning modules.
“This has seen our team perform a host of additional safety and cleaning measures, such as wiping down everything every hour, sanitising high-contact
surfaces every hour and sanitation checks performed every hour,” he said.
“We were fortunate that we had Virtual Manager in place already; it was incredibly quick and seamless to add the sanitation checks and safety data sheets for chemicals.”
Virtual Manager has sold 50,000 licences to its products worldwide.
It has a firm foothold in US and European markets, working with a host of Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Compass, Emirates Leisure and Robertson.
