MOTHER’S Day celebratio­ns will be in full swing on the Gold Coast on Sunday, with fine weather set to make mum’s day. For those who have left plans to the last minute, here’s a taste of what’s on offer to spoil mum.

High tea at Chapter & Verse

Savour pastries, fruit, gourmet sandwiches, freshly baked scones with double cream and homemade jams, a glass of champagne on arrival, freshly brewed coffee and teas. When: Noon-3pm

Long lunch at Citrique

Sit down to a long lunch in the seafood market, including Pacific oysters, Mooloolaba tiger prawns, blue swimmer crabs, Moreton Bay bugs, spanner crab, green-lip mussels and Hervey Bay scallops. There’s also antipasto, roasts, Asian dishes, wood-fired pizza, European classics and desserts. When: Noon-3pm

Italian Lunch at Cucina Vivo

Enjoy a three-course share menu including San Danielle Prosicutto, wagyu Bresaola, Casalingo Salami as starters. Stanbroke Scoth Fillet Tagiata, Risotto A Funghi with Byron Bay gourmet mushrooms and Broccolini with capsicum emulsion as ‘Secondi’. For Desert of ‘Dolce’ there is a Sapori D’Italia with assorted variety of small desserts. Mum can also celebrate with a glass of Chandon Rose.

5-course menu at Nineteen At The Star

The venue overlooks the Pacific Ocean on the rooftop. The set menu includes prawn and Oscietra Caniour, Appelation Oysters, Pumpkin Risotto, Fillet Steak, White Chocolate Mandarin Mousse, and Chocolate Meringue Pie. As well as a compliment­ary box of chocolates.

Lunch at the Garden Bar

The Garden Bar has a seasonal a la carte menu with two special dishes including a Pan Fried Reef Cod paired with a Woodbrook Chardonnay. When: Noon-2.30pm and 5.30-Midnight

Mother’s Day High Tea Cruise with SeaWorld

Enjoy sweat and savoury treats on three-tiered platters. Mum can relax on the open deck with a compliment­ary glass of sparkling wine. When: 3-4.30pm

Hide and Seek Children’s Market

In a strive to support other mother’s businesses Hide and Seek markets displays boutique stalls, live music and food trucks. There is also kids activities available.

Sip and Paint at the Sweet Fine Artist Studio

A three-hour sip and paint session with a BYO option, or receive a grazing box by Graze for Daise with a glass of bubbles on arrival.

Cost: Option one, all inclusive grazing box and bubbles: $175 for two people. Option two

Selection of sandwiches, pastries and cakes with a compliment­ary espresso coffe or loose-leaf tea, as well as a glass of sparkling wine.

When: Two sitting times available. 10.30am - 12.30pm, |1.30pm - 3.30pm

Where: Royal Pines Resort Cost: $39 Adults and $19.50 for children.

Morning Tea at Royal Pines.

Mum can enjoy a glass of sparkling on arrival followed with the high tea. Supporting Cancer Council Australia.
