RACE 6 – Gold Coast Bracelet (1800m)
Good Soize ran well when resuming in the Princess Stakes (1630m) last start and the step up to 1800m looks ideal. Tycoon Evie may have to work early from the wide gate, but her form this preparation has been far too consistent to overlook. Only Words has drawn well and should get a much cushier run than she did last start. Nothinsweetaboutme is the likely leader from barrier 1 and may be able to dictate terms.

RACE 7 – Gold Coast Guineas (1200m)
Amish Boy is the top rater and has been ultra-consistent this preparation in quality Group races. Simply Fly was a big winner in the 3YO Jewel here back in March on a heavy track and can atone after last start. Rocketing By was a winner secondup at Randwick last preparation and was far from disgraced behind Wild Ruler. Marboosha was only narrowly beaten in the PJ Bell and is a must include for the exotics.

RACE 8 – Hollindale Stakes (1800m)
Fifty Stars caught the eye late in the All Aged Stakes and the wet track and extra distance are both in his favour. Avilius is well overdue for a win and with any luck in the run, will be charging over the top late. Homesman was outstanding in a grinding victory in the Australian Cup last start after a wide trip. Melody Belle is a 14-time Group 1 winner and cannot be discounted in the main race.

RACE 9 – Silk Stocking (1400m)
Yamazaki ran well in strong Victorian Group races. That form should measure up here plus she comes off a lovey quiet trial. Maui Girl brings strong southern form and ran an excellent fourth in the Newcastle Newmarket two starts back. Wonderful Riri is flying this preparation after a change of stable and can handle a rain-affected track. Gem Of Scotland ran second to Wonderful Riri at Doomben.
