TWENTY-THOUSAND runners from around the globe will be stretching their hamstrings and lacing up their trainers as they hit the pavement for the 42nd Gold Coast Marathon this weekend.

6.00am: ASICS Half Marathon. First finisher from 7.00am

9.25am: Health and Wellbeing Queensland 2km Junior Dash. First finisher from 9.31am 9.40am: Health and Wellbeing Queensland 4km Junior Dash. First finisher from 9.52am

10.10am: Gold Coast Airport 5km Fun Run. First finisher from 10.25am

RACE TIMES, SUNDAY

5.55am: CPL Wheelchair Marathon. First finisher from 7.25am

6.00am: Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Marathon. First finisher from 8.08am

6.25am: CPL Wheelchair 10km. First finisher from 6.45am 6.30am: Southern Cross University 10km Run. First finisher from 6.58am

LOCATION DETAILS

The Race Precinct is located at the Broadwater Parklands, Marine Pde, Southport. It features the start and finish lines, event entertainment on the lawn, food, beverages, toilets, bag drop, information booth, a lost persons’ tent and is easily accessible via the G:link rail and shuttle buses.
