RACE 6 – Benchmark 65 (1200m)
Chatty Lady has been wellsupported by TAB punters early and after a decent fresh effort at Toowoomba should be ready to win second-up. Day Performer will need some luck from the outside draw but should be competitive and the wetter the better. Chevy Nova has not missed a prize his last four starts and should be in the money again despite the big weight. Dulcie Tie might be ready to fire first-up following a recent trial win and could well lead from the inside draw.

RACE 7 – Maiden Handicap (1350m)
Ben Hur looks overdue for a maiden victory and gets the benefit of the 3kg claim here. Star Of Adelaide is having his first start in Queensland. The southern form is nothing to write home about but his recent trial had plenty of merit as he finished close after racing wide throughout. Beacon Place was good when resuming at Coffs Harbour last start and can go one better this time. Carrefour returns from a let-up and she is capable of getting into the money.

RACE 8 – Class 3 Handicap (1350m)
Minto’s Paradise returns to his home track where he has had prior success and should be the one to beat here third-up from a spell. Regal Edition drops 3kg on his dominant last-start victory and appears to be the main danger. Nic Me Some pulled up with excuses when wellsupported in the betting last start and can bounce back. Vendidit returns from a break and has won twice firstup, including a win here when resuming last preparation over 1400m.

RACE 9 – Benchmark 60 Handicap (1350m)
Isolyfe returns from a spell and did plenty wrong when resuming last campaign before winning his maiden at Doomben. Plenty of upside. Fast Thinker has been knocking on the door and should run well regardless of the track condition. Nic Me Some must be included if he does not contest race 8. Perfect Quality has been running well this campaign and can figure again. Daulat Machtigamor is now third-up fit and drops 3kg on her last-start third placing here.
