Here’s a terrific idea, with all the floods we’ve had and will continue to have, it will be a great idea for the government, army, ses, or anyone else, to acquire a large number of the old American army ducks, they’re a combination of a 4 wd truck, boat and barge with dropdown loading ramp, they were invaluable for unloading and loading troops and vehicles in the wars. Here, they can drive down a hill, on to a road, then cross a flooded river or road to rescue stranded people or animals or vehicles, take them to safety, then go back for more, or rescue people caught on rooftops. Maybe the people who make the Bushmaster trucks could build a hundred or two, they’re just a simple old floating truck with no electronic garbage, the same as the old original ones, they go where you point them, wet or dry, i would feel much safer in a flood if i knew there was a Duck close by, ex driver.

The road through Palm Beach is always busy very slow at times. So way to fix that is to take it from 2 lanes each way down to 1 lane and get rid of all on street parking? This is to facilitate a ridiculously expensive tram to take people to the airport who could go on an existing bus system that is underutilised. Please explain? Gypsy, We unravelled outgrown woollen jumpers to reknit, made and repaired our clothes, cobblers repaired our shoes. I read in the paper that numbers using the trams have fallen. How do they count those using the trams? By the number of fares collected? Then, therein lies the problem.
