How would you describe your personal style?

A little bit quirky. Lots of colour, interesting fabrics (often textured or floral) and accessories. I love to clash patterns and wear a bold lip when I go out.

How has your style changed over the years?

I think I’ve definitely become a bit more subdued since my teens and twenties. Definitely more practical choices of footwear haha! I’m probably not as daring as I used to be when I was younger but I still really love bold patterns and colours.

Who are your style icons? Iris Apfel, her unique sense of style is just so iconic. She is bold and brave in her styling.

What’s the oldest thing in your wardrobe?

Probably my mum’s gold double hoop earrings she received for her engagement. They are so beautiful and classic, I wear them all the time!

Your must-have accessory? Mule sandals. I feel like they go with everything and are so comfortable to slip on and off. I actually have the best style I have bought from Kmart, I have them in a few colours and wear them everywhere.

What’s the most you have spent on an outfit?

I have probably spent more on accessories rather than clothing. I have a couple of Gucci bags, my favourite is a limited-edition piece by the artist Ken Scott that was released last year. I love wearing it with everything!

What is the most surprising thing about your wardrobe?

That most of it is thrifted! I love going op shopping – it’s sustainable, affordable and I love the thrill of looking for interesting pieces.

Top three wardrobe must-haves? I like to be a bit more practical in my wardrobe these days – I have a pair of crisp white sneakers that I mix with all of my prints, a nice tailored jacket to throw over any transeasonal outfit and statement accessories. It doesn’t matter where they came from or how much they cost, I always like to have interesting accessories.

What is the most sentimental item in your wardrobe? I have a beautiful necklace my partner bought me for my birthday from Sarah & Sebastian. It is a simple gold chain with my initials on it and I wear it every day.

What (fashion item) would you buy if money was no object? I would really love to own a pair of the iconic YSL earrings that Samantha Jones wore in some Sex and the City episodes.

Summer or winter fashion? Always summer! I love the colours, prints and vibrancy of the season!

Heels or sneakers? Sneakers – the older I am getting!

What’s your signature fragrance? Gucci Bloom – I love both the floral notes and branding of this beautiful fragrance.
