Writrose is third-up fit for her Queensland debut and will find this easier than her last two runs this preparation. Under The Limit gets the blinkers on following a solid effort over 1350m last time out at only his second race start. Sidestep Me is facing a rise in trip but should be near peak fitness third-up from a spell and has shown improvement at every outing.

Dazzling Flash has shown improvement at each run so far this campaign and gets her chance to get into the winner’s circle. Vienna Princess was strong late after getting a long way back resuming last start and should appreciate the extra trip. Mychyna has found form this prep with two wins at big odds and should run well again despite the extra weight. Hot Bananas got no peace in front and weakened out of it first-up from a spell but could be in contention if she can get a softer lead.

Taurids will find this easier than last start in town and the Newcastle win three starts back reads well for this plus gets the addition of blinkers for the first time. Mio Sorrento has been running ok at the city midweeks following some promising Victorian form. Mishani Conman almost caused a boilover last start and should be in the mix again with a repeat performance. Tuki Twelve is having his first run back since March and did win on debut over 1700m, so watch for any market support. SELECTIONS: 12 Taurids, 1 Mio Sorrento, 5 Mishani Conman, 10 Tuki Twelve
