Apple locks out drivers

-

Apple has announced it will roll out a new feature to iphones that can lock users out of the device while they are driving. The computing and software giant revealed the tech as part of its IOS 11 update, due later this year, it would add a feature called “Do Not Disturb”. The phone detects when it is in motion and blocks notifications when the system is in use, as well as turning the screen dark for the duration of the trip. The update isn’t a complete solution, as drivers would have to turn the function on before a trip, and can opt out if they wish to use the phone on the road.
