Tread carefully
All 991.2 GT3 reviews we’ve seen have featured the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 N1 tyre, in 245/35 ZR20 front and 305/30 ZR20 rear sizes. Therefore, it came as a bit of a surprise to find our car running on Dunlop Sport Maxx Race2 rubber. In fact both are OE fit and there’s not a great deal to choose between them. For ultimate track performance, the Michelins get the nod, but the Dunlops are reported to get up to operating temperature more quickly, which might better suit road use.
