Supercars pilot and two-time Enduro Cup winner Warren Luff has set a production car lap record around The Bend, recording a 3:24.079 in a Porsche 911 GT2 RS. While driving for a feature with brother title MOTOR magazine, Luff registered an average speed of 136km/h through the 34 corners of the 7.77km GT Circuit in the 515kw rear-drive 911. A peak speed of 271km/h was set on the pit straight. You want context? Luff reckoned his GT3 racer would nudge three minutes flat.
