Charging space

The T8’s battery pack weighs 113kg, measures a sizeable 1586 x 395 x 446mm and is packaged along the centreline, which impedes cabin space slightly (like a prominent transmission tunnel) and repositions the rear air vents from the centre into the B-pillars. Rear packaging is an XC60 strength, however, courtesy of a rear bench that splits 60:40 and folds flat at the press of a single, easy-to-reach button near the headrest. Plenty of room too, and vision is excellent.
