The Coldplay singer and ‘Fifty Shades’ actress get to know each other over sushi

AT THE AMFAR GALA ON OCT. 13 (see p. 14), Chris Martin serenaded Julia Roberts with a rendition of Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman”. But three days earlier, the Coldplay frontman’s attention was caught up with another beautiful brunette, actress Dakota Johnson.

The singer, 40, and the Fifty Shades of Grey star, 28, were spotted grabbing dinner together at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. They were “cosy, laughing and affectionate,” a source tells WHO, noting it was just the two sharing a meal. Their reps did not respond to WHO’S request for comment.

Martin was last linked to English actress Annabelle Wallis in an apparently on-again off-again relationship. Johnson’s most recent romance, with musician Matthew Hitt, seemed to have faded in 2016.

Martin (in 2015) was married to Gwyneth Paltrow for 10 years and dated Jennifer Lawrence after his marriage ended in 2014.

Johnson (in 2016), daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, played Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades franchise.
