Pick of the patch!
Kim leads the stars giving their kids a Halloween treat
IN A WIDE-RANGING INTERVIEW for the 10th anniversary of her reality TV series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, mother-of-two Kim Kardashian West talks about her “mom guilt” when juggling parenting and work (see p. 32). But the businesswoman appeared to have all angles covered, nailing the role on Oct. 17 when she took time out with daughter North, 4, and son, Saint, who turns 2 in December, at a pumpkin patch ahead of Halloween. While choosing the perfect pumpkin for Oct. 31 was the main aim of the visit to Westlake in Los Angeles, the family (minus Dad Kanye West) enjoyed the bouncy slide and rope walk. Kardashian West—who has confirmed she and West are expecting their third baby via surrogate—had to ditch her stiletto boots to cuddle a beaming North as they hit the slide. “Kim loves Halloween,” her brother, Rob, said last year, and a source told WHO she “makes it fun for the kids.”
The Kardashian West clan weren’t
the only celebs picking pumpkins for Halloween. Also making their annual pilgrimage were Tori Spelling and Dean Mcdermott and their kids, with Spelling wrangling their four oldest children, Liam, 10, Stella, 9, Hattie, 6, and Finn, 5, while she cradled and fed their latest addition, 7-month-old son Beau. Mcdermott took a gallery of pictures of their kids playing among the pumpkins.
At Underwood Family Farms on Oct. 14, Jennifer Garner climbed aboard a bumblebee ride with her children, Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Sam, 5. Getting into the holiday spirit, a giggling Garner loaded up a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins, as her kids indulged in ice-creams. Ex Ben Affleck wasn’t with his family for the Halloween preview, instead catching up with Garner and daughter Violet in Los Angeles on Oct. 21.
Also soaking up the fun at Underwood were Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk, beginning their own family Halloween tradition by taking 7-month-old daughter Lea to her first pumpkin patch.
