The star of hit US show This Is Us Justin Hartley weds actress Chrishell Stause in a sumptuous celebration.

As one of the stars of This is Us, Justin Hartley knows a thing or two about getting emotional. So it’s perhaps no surprise that when he first met Chrishell Stause, he followed his heart. The couple tied the knot beneath a canopy of trees at Malibu’s Calamigos Ranch on Oct. 28, four years to the day since they first met. It has long been an auspicious date on Stause’s calendar: “I texted my friend the next day, ‘I found him,’ ” she recalls. The feeling was highly mutual. “I knew right away she was the one,” Hartley says. “I think it was meant to be.”

As Stause walked down an aisle blanketed with pink and white rose petals, she stopped to embrace Hartley’s 13-year-old daughter, Isabella, before reaching the altar. “She’s been such an amazing part of our relationship,” Stause says, and it showed. “It was really sweet and very touching,” says one guest who became misty-eyed. As Hartley, 40, and Stause, 36, exchanged handwritten vows before 75 guests—including Hartley’s tight-knit TV family, Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown—the tears were soon flowing. “Chrishell was crying and Justin was so moved,” says the guest.

Afterwards, guests sat down in a “rustic, romantic” outdoor dining area, with chandeliers hanging from the trees and pale pink peonies adorning the tables for a meal of roast chicken and prime rib (plus a signature whiskey cocktail). The couple did their first dance to the Contours’s “Do You Love Me”, and later, Hartley shared a fatherdaughter dance with Isabella to Taylor Swift’s “The Best Day”. “The whole wedding was really

centred around how Bella and Chrishell are the two women in Justin’s life,” says a friend. “[They] were saying Chrishell was the last puzzle piece for their family to be complete. It was awesome to see how the three of them are such a tight-knit unit.”

Hartley and Stause danced into the night alongside Justin’s co-stars Brown and Metz, goofed around in a custom photo booth and served up late-night miniburgers and cheese toasties. “The wedding exceeded anything I could have ever imagined,” Stause says. “They don’t make them any better than Justin, and I could not be more thrilled to officially be Mrs Hartley!” Mr Hartley certainly agrees. “At the risk of sounding cheesy, I look forward to sharing life experiences and growing old together. Someday, we can talk about all the things we did together 30 years ago!”
