WHO

Miley & Miley THE TRUTH ABOUT US

- By Jennie Noonan

Now that they’re back together, spending downtime as a couple and also being there for each other professionally is a priority. Before Cyrus visited Hemsworth on set in Georgia, the pair made a rare red-carpet appearance to support Liam’s brother Chris Hemsworth at the Thor: Ragnarok premiere in Los Angeles on Oct. 10. Weeks later, when Cyrus was a musical guest on Saturday Night Live alongside guest host Larry David on Nov. 4, Hemsworth made a surprise cameo in a sketch in which Cyrus played a game-show audience member paired with celebrity contestant Chris Hemsworth (portrayed by cast member Alex Moffat). Cyrus told the faux elder sibling of her beau, “You’re really cute.” “Yeah, sorry love, I’m married,” replied Moffat, in character as the actor. Asked Cyrus in return, “Do you have a brother?” Hemsworth and Cyrus were later spotted heading to the show’s after-party in the early hours of Sunday morning, holding hands—once again sporting rings on their fingers.

Aside from her professional projects, the animal-loving “Malibu” singer, who owns three homes in California, recently bought a $US5.8 million, five-bedroom Nashville house to be closer to her family. “It will be their next project,” a source tells Us Weekly, noting that the renovations might mean marriage is further down the track. “Miley said that she has no wedding date set. They are in the opposite of a rush to get married.” Still, “They’re set on making it work this time,” another friend says of their on-again relationship. “They’ve come a long way.”

It’s a fact that isn’t lost on Cyrus, who has acknowledged that she’s standing on more solid ground these days. “In some relationships, you lose yourself by being with someone else,” she said in September. “Actually, it made me find myself more. I have no idea what the next three years will bring, but if it’s possible to get even happier, I’ll take it.”
