Patton Oswalt’s new happiness

Patton Oswalt has found love once more after heartbreak. On Nov. 4, the 48-year-old Veep actor and comedian wed Meredith Salenger, 47, at the Jim Henson Studios in Los Angeles. Officiating was actress Martha Plimpton, who is credited with introducing the pair. Oswalt’s daughter Alice, 8, performed flower-girl duties. “True love. True happiness. Forever and Always. The Oswalts,” posted Harvard-educated actress Salenger, who was first seen with Patton at the June premiere of Baby Driver, with the couple becoming engaged in July. For Patton, this marks a happier new chapter after his first wife, crime writer Michelle Mcnamara, died unexpectedly in her sleep in April 2016.

They have one daughter, Iris, 1. ● Saturday Night Live guest-star Alec Baldwin, 59, and his wife Hilaria, 33, are expecting their fourth child together. Already in a Colombian prison after she was arrested in April at Bogotá airport over nearly 6kg of cocaine found in her luggage, Cassie Sainsbury, 22, has been sentenced to six years jail and fined nearly $US100,000. The South Australian’s lawyer, Orlando Herran, hopes that may be reduced to three years with good conduct. ● Nicki Minaj’s ex Meek Mill (né Robert Rihmeek William), 30, was sentenced to a minimum of two years jail time for probation violations on Nov. 6. The rapper previously served eight months after 2008 gun and drug charges. ● Jocelyn Wildenstein, 77, and her boyfriend Lloyd Klein, 50, were charged with assault in New York after an argument turned violent in their Trump World Tower apartment on Nov. 5.

Gloria Fallon, 68, the mother of The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, died on Nov. 4. “Today I lost my biggest fan,” Fallon told WHO in a statement. ● Singer Robert Knight, best known for the 1967 pop hit “Everlasting Love”, died on Nov. 5 following a short, undisclosed illness. He was 72.
