The actress and lifestyle guru finds happiness with her TV producer fiancé

GWYNETH PALTROW’S pals knew the Oscar winner and Goop mogul’s romance with Glee and American Horror Story producer Brad Falchuk was serious. But when it came to how serious, Paltrow, 45, was coy. No more: the star confirmed her engagement to Falchuk, 46, in the Jan. 8 issue of her own Goop magazine. “I have decided to give it a go again,” she said. “Not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”

It’s the second time around for Paltrow, who “uncoupled” from rock star Chris Martin, the father of her children, Apple, 13, and Moses, 11, in 2014 after 11 years of marriage. Falchuk has also been married—to producer Suzanne Bukinik, with whom he has two kids. He met Paltrow when she guest-starred on Glee in 2010 and they began dating after Paltrow’s divorce. “Gwyneth is fascinated by Brad, and she feels comfortable with his family,” says a Falchuk source.

For several years now, they have carefully knitted their lives together. “They have a very easy relationship,” says another source. “They both work a lot, but they manage to make everything look easy. When they’re apart, he likes to Facetime Gwyneth and she always has a huge smile when he does. He still makes her blush.”

For his part, Falchuk has taken easily to life with a movie star. In the same Goop story, he revealed he cooks for Paltrow and has endured her infamous cleanses. “Anytime she can’t eat something fried is tough,” he quipped. “Mama needs her fries!” Says the Falchuk source: “She has found the right guy.” ■

“Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be,” Paltrow told Goop magazine.

On her Sept. 27 birthday, Falchuk posted this pic and wrote, “We are all so lucky she came into the world (but no-one is luckier than me).”
