Controversial bride Davina makes a play for another man—dean
LAST WEEK DAVINA Rankin told WHO that with what she saw as her less-than-impressive marriage to Ryan Gallagher she is open to a husband swap.
Now the Instagram model freely admits her attraction to “alpha male” Dean Wells, revealing she plans to steal “just one” husband during the series. “I can’t wait till we live together and we can all sleep together,” she tells Wells as they flirt at the first dinner party (airing Feb. 8).
Despite having been intimate with his new “bride,” Tracey Jewel, Wells, 39, has privately questioned if the 34-year-old single mum is right for him, and declares at the dinner, “there’s a few hotties here ... I mean, Davina’s pretty cute, for sure—holy shit, I’m definitely attracted to her.”
With insiders confirming the pair grow closer in coming weeks despite being “married” to others, it’s a far cry from self-described “serial monogamist” Wells’s statements before the series aired last month. “I’ve never been unfaithful in a relationship,” the advertising freelancer told WHO. “Trust gets broken for a reason. And usually that reason is that either one or both people in a relationship aren’t happy. If I’m in a relationship, I’m 100 per cent committed.”
But Rankin, 26, insists she has no qualms about testing boundaries, saying she and Gallagher, 29, “are actually completely different people. I really need someone who has their shit together, in the nicest sense. I need somebody who’s motivated and driven, because I go 10 to the dozen so I need someone who is my speed like that. If I don’t feel inspired by my partner I get bored quite quickly.” ■
