THE LAST WORD
MATT CZUCHRY
LAST CLASS I TOOK
Four years ago I took a photography class in New York with a buddy of mine, and I’ve been keeping with it since. As an actor I’m a storyteller, so photography is just another way to express that.
LAST INJURY
I had a scene in The Resident where I was biking, and I fell on my wrist and a bone bruised with swelling. It took about six weeks to recover. I had half a cast that I could take off while I was filming and then put it back on.
LAST ROAD TRIP
I went with my parents to Sequoia National Park right on the heels of my Gilmore Girls audition, and it filled me with a lot of positive energy. That was the last road trip I think fondly on, because getting that show was so important to me.
LAST DIY PROJECT
I have a house in LA, and I love doing some of the landscaping. My backyard is kind of an oasis: I have cactuses, agave and hummingbird feeders. I put a barn owl house in as well, but no visitors yet.
LAST TIME MY NAME WAS MISPRONOUNCED
Probably 10 minutes ago? It happens a lot. But that’s OK. It keeps you humble. I just say, “Oh, Matt’s a whole lot easier.”
The ‘Gilmore Girls’ and ‘Good Wife’ star, 40, appears in the new medical drama ‘The Resident.’ (Starts Mon., Feb. 26, 9 PM; Seven)
