MEGHAN MARKLE PROVED she is more than ready to take her place as part of the young royal Fab Four, fitting in comfortably with fiancé Prince Harry and future in-laws the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they discussed their ongoing commitment to their charity organisation, the Royal Foundation. Hinting at what her role might be with the foundation, Markle told guests at its annual forum on Feb. 28 that with the Me Too and Time’s Up campaigns in full

swing, there was no better time to “shine a light onto women feeling empowered ... I know how passionate I am [about helping others] and Harry and I see the world so similarly in our approach in being very hands-on with things.” Still, the 36-year-old will have to sit tight for a while yet. Prince Harry was quick to remind his bride-to-be they had a wedding to organise first, prompting a laughing Markle to acquiesce. “I guess we wait a couple of months and then we can hit the ground running,” she joked. “Wedding first.” But even before that—a luxurious hen’s party at a country spa resort, organised by her closest friends (see box).

Meanwhile, Prince William, 35, drew a laugh from the audience when asked if the three royals ever had disagreements working together. “Ooooh, yes,” quipped William, before Harry added, “The fact that everyone is laughing means they know exactly what it’s like [working with family]. We’re stuck together for the rest of our lives.”
