STEPHEN MOYER
LAST INJURY
I have a comedic, chronically bad shoulder. It hurts anytime I sleep badly, and I’m a disturbingly bad sloucher. But I found this amazing chiropractor while I’m working here in Atlanta. I go in, he chucks me down on this thing, smashes my head around for about three minutes, and I walk back out.
LAST INDULGENCE
There is an absurdly good restaurant here called MF Sushi. Anna [Paquin] and I are coming to the end of a construction project and we’re saving pennies, so I don’t go that often. But when I do, I fully immerse myself in a mountain of raw fish.
LAST TIME I WAS RECOGNISED
I’ve got an ancient 1940s Chevy truck called Little Blue, and it’s here with me, so everyone knows it’s me. Literally, this morning as I drove to the dog park, somebody pulled up next to me and said, “It is you!”
LAST SUPERSTITION
I always carry an acorn in my right-hand pocket, because it reminds me of my 17-year-old son [Billy]. The oak tree that I planted when he was born is still in the front yard of our house in London, and I collect the acorns from that particular tree.
LAST TIME I SANG OUT LOUD
I mean, six minutes ago? I’m always screaming my nut off, and the people next door must hate me. My go-to karaoke is probably “Tango Till They’re Sore” by Tom Waits. Anna, when she first met me, thought it was like a wooing thing, and then she realised quite quickly that it was just really annoying.
