WHO

ROYALS UNEDITED

-

The shots of the Duchess of Cambridge and her kids watching Prince William at the Maserati Royal Charity Polo (p. 6) were so refreshing. When I saw them I immediately thought of similar images of Princess Diana in the 1980s dancing and playing shoeless and uninhibited on the grass. The less polished, less-than-perfect, relatable side of the royals is the side I just can’t get enough of. I particularly love the image of Prince George being chased by his sister, Charlotte—who looks to be such an energetic, bold and, dare I say, cheeky little royal. Charlotte giggled as she tumbled down the hill and rustled through her mum’s handbag in search of things to play with. Kate, too, looked uncharacteristically carefree, perched on a muddy hill in fits of laughter at her children’s performances. Hope you enjoy the issue.

?? ?? 2018 Prince George and Princess Charlotte clearly enjoyed the family outing, frolicking on the grass.
1989 Princess Diana was a hands-on mum to the young Princes.
