HELEN MIRREN
LAST GUILTY PLEASURE
Probably eating a bit of the chocolate at the Golden Globes that was in my hotel room. I just couldn’t resist. I lurch in and out of self-control.
LAST RECURRING DREAM
I have a wonderful one of being able to levitate. Everyone looks up at me and goes, “How did you do that?” And I say, “It’s really easy—you just have to think.” It’s a beautiful dream.
LAST TIME I WAS STARSTRUCK
Meeting Sam Rockwell. I was just blathering as one does about how wonderful he is. You know, rambling. I’m always amazed that they know who I am.
LAST WARDROBE MALFUNCTION
A long time ago a zipper got stuck, so I went in my closet and put on a dress that I’d bought on sale in an outlet store for $39.99. I was on about six best-dressed lists!
LAST MOMENT OF BLISS
At the Golden Globes. There was a real feeling of change. Nobody was told, “Don’t be boring about women’s rights—we don’t want to hear it.” They did want to hear about it. And that was pretty blissful.
The Oscar winner, 72, stars in the new movie ‘The Leisure Seeker’ (out now).
