The Oscar winner is all smiles as she steps out with the man in her life
YOU COULDN’T WIPE THE GRIN OFF JENNIFER Lawrence’s face on June 5 as the 27-year-old actress and new boyfriend Cooke Maroney, 33, took a stroll through New York after grabbing drinks together earlier. A source confirmed to WHO that the couple have been dating since late May.
“They looked very comfortable,” the source says. “She is smiling like I have never seen her do with any of her previous boyfriends.” The source adds that the two have “great chemistry” and were “holding hands and laughing” on their walk. A second source confirmed to WHO that Lawrence and Maroney were a couple after being spotted around the city “several times” in the last few weeks.
Maroney works in the New York art scene, reportedly as a director at Gladstone 64, a gallery in the city’s Upper East Side, and represents clients like Lena Dunham’s critically renowned artist father, Carroll.
For Lawrence, the romance comes a few months after her November 2017 split with mother! director Darren Aronofsky, who she started dating in September 2016 once production on the thriller had wrapped. On May 30, she attended the BAM Gala in New York, at which her former boyfriend was being honoured, and described him as her “very good friend.” •
