INTERNATIO­NAL MODEL AND actress Emily Ratajkowsk­i is known for her bikini-ready body, but you won’t find her slaving away on a treadmill. The 27-year-old revealed her busy schedule makes it difficult to focus on exercise. “Weekends don’t really exist. I’ll randomly have a Monday off, then work Saturday and Sunday. [On my] days off, I’ll get some time to exercise,” she told Beautycrew. Her choice of exercise is to make the most of Hollywood’s steep hills. “I really like to hike. LA is a great place for that.”

In an interview with The New York Times, the actress said she takes “long walks and hikes with my girlfriend­s.” When she’s not travelling or working weekends, the brunette beauty likes to stick to a practice including regular low-intensity exercises. “(I do) yoga a couple of time a week. It’s a really big part of my regimen,” she explains.

In addition to finding time to move, the I Feel Pretty actress likes to consume a high-energy diet. “I really like to eat meat. I crave iron so I am definitely not the kind of person who you will often find eating a plain salad. I like to keep it really balanced to give my body energy and also be healthy,” she tells Elle. The actress suggests the best way to control your intake of good food is to ensure you prepare your own meals. “I cook a lot, so that really helps: you know how much salt and sugar and all of that kind of stuff you are putting in your body.” But perhaps her best-kept secret is her ability to “chug water” before bedtime. •
