The Real Full Monty Squad
BRIAN “BT” TAYLOR
Former AFL player and current commentator, Brian “BT” Taylor, stripped down for a good cause. “I have a fear of getting nude, I’m illiterate when it comes to music and I can’t dance,” the 56-year-old said. “So I’m hoping to conquer all those things.”
CAMPBELL BROWN
The 34-year-old AFL star played for both Hawthorn and Gold Coast before hanging up his boots in 2013. “I’m a very bad dancer,” he said. “In fact, I’m a terrible dancer. But it’s a great cause.”
JETT KENNY
The son of Lisa Curry and Grant Kenny, the 23-year-old follows in his parents’ athletic footsteps by taking part in Ironman competitions. Kenny said that he was embracing his “inner Channing Tatum for a good cause.”
BRENDAN “JONESY” JONES
Radio presenter Jonesy, who usually graces your airways in the morning alongside co-host Amanda Keller, quite liked wearing a G-string. “Ladies complain about G-strings but I’ve taken to it like a duck to water,” the 50-year-old said.
KRIS SMITH
International model Kris Smith is used to having his shirt off for work, but this is a new level. The 39-year-old admitted that the group was “shitting ourselves backstage. My biggest fear is being totally naked in front of all these people and cameras,” he said.
MATT COOPER
NRL star Matt Cooper, 39, played his entire career for the St George Illawarra Dragons before retiring in 2013. “When I heard it was about spreading awareness of men’s health issues, I put my hand up straight away,” he said.
SHANE JACOBSON
The 48-year-old was the driving force behind the special and he also performed double duty as host and performer. “If the blokes we round up are brave enough to go the Full Monty then the men of Australia can be brave enough to talk about cancer,” he said.
